Consult

In the first consultation we’ll discuss your requirements and ideas for your website. I will go through all the options with you in plain English – strictly no jargon. You can then decide on either a customised WordPress site – which you will be able to maintain and update yourself – or a bespoke site, which allows for much greater creative freedom in terms of design and layout, and would be managed and maintained by me.

The third option is an e-commerce site. We can build basic e-commerce sites suitable for small start up businesses, or more complex platforms for larger on-line stores.

Design

The design process is wholly collaborative, so you end up with exactly the website you want. Each of my websites is original. I will provide a range of mock-up designs on photoshop, based on our initial consultation, which can then be adjusted in response to your input.

You can provide your own written content, but I also offer a writing service.

Build

Once the design has been agreed, it takes approximately 4 weeks from the initial consultation to launch a working website, depending on content, complexity of design and the number of pages.

E-commerce websites typically take longer, based on the size of your product range. We’ll provide support on configuring a payment gateway to enable card payments, collaborate on the details required for shipping and stock management, and provide due diligence for testing user experience and website security.

Host

I will host and maintain your site on my secure server. I can update and add new material when needed or, in the case of a customised WordPress site, give you the tools to maintain the site yourself.
